Our group is one of the most well known amateur dance companies in Ukraine. Our dancers are distinguished with a top choreographic background, experience and high performance standard. In 1997, the Centre became a member of the Ukrainian National section of CIOFF.

We have two concert teams - though amateurs but highly professional dancers capable to satisfy the requirements and tastes of the most critical and demanding audience. The age of the dancers is 6-14 and 14-18 years. Each team consists of 35 - 40 dancers.

The folk dance group has an interesting and spectacular repertoire. Its programs includes both Ukrainian folk dances and folk dances of other countries. Our repertoire also includes Ukrainian folk songs accompanied by traditional Ukrainian musical instruments. The national costumes of the dancers are bright colorful and very special, decorated with traditional Ukrainian embroidery, ribbons, flowers and beadwork. We perform dances of varied tempos -from quiet lyrical to fast and cheerful. This program could be performed at any dance hall, sport hall, open stadium or stage.

The group is permanently enhancing its skill by extensive concert activity. During the recent years our ensemble was a laureate of international dance festivals in Poland, Hungary, Turkey, Cyprus, Croatia, Slovenia, Spain, Germany, Slovakia, Egypt, Norway, Yugoslavia, France, etc.
